Textile trousers dominate the EU touring market for their weatherproofing and armour compatibility; leather suits sport and track use. Most trousers sold at retail are Level A — check the label carefully. Hip and knee armour pockets should accept CE Level 2 protectors; many trousers ship with Level 1 and allow an upgrade. Look for a jacket-connection zip if you want a matched suit.
