Protectors Deals

Standalone protectors include back protectors, knee guards, chest armour, and hip pads β€” worn under clothing, inserted into garment pockets, or worn over base layers. CE EN 1621 is the governing standard: Level 1 is the minimum, Level 2 provides significantly better energy absorption in impact testing. Adding a CE Level 2 back protector is the single most impactful safety upgrade for any rider whose jacket includes only shoulder and elbow armour.

Before buying

  • CE EN 1621-2 covers back protectors β€” Level 2 absorbs substantially more impact energy than Level 1 in standardised testing.
  • Many trousers are sold without hip protectors β€” a separate CE Level 2 hip pad fills this gap at low cost.
  • Knee and chest protectors can be worn discreetly under textile outer layers for commuting and everyday riding.
