This policy describes how RiderDealFinder collects and uses personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law.

This site uses no analytics or tracking scripts. We do not measure or profile individual visitors.
When you click a “Buy” button, the click passes through our own redirect (/go) before reaching the retailer. We record only an anonymous count: which product, retailer and page the link was on, the time, whether the request came from an automated crawler, mobile or desktop, and the country derived from the request. We do not store your IP address, set cookies or build any profile. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding which comparisons are useful and keeping automated traffic away from affiliate links.
When you search the catalogue, we record the search words, the site language, how many results came back and whether the request came from an automated crawler. Autocomplete is recorded only when it found nothing. Nothing links a search to you: no IP address, cookie or profile. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in finding gear riders look for but cannot find, and fixing search.
1. Infrastructure and server logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process technical data (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) in server logs for security and infrastructure purposes. We do not access or use this data. Vercel acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

2. Email contact
If you contact us by email at contact@riderdealfinder.eu, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. We do not share it with third parties, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to communications. Emails are retained only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry.
3. Links to merchant sites
This site contains links to third-party retailers. Some of these are affiliate links; others are direct links to product pages. When you click any link and visit a merchant's website, that merchant may set cookies and process your data according to their own privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party data practices. Please review the privacy policy of any merchant site you visit.
Cookies
RiderDealFinder does not set any cookies and does not use local storage. No cookie consent banner is displayed because no cookies are set by this site.
If you click an affiliate link, the merchant's site may set cookies on their domain. Those cookies are governed by the merchant's own cookie policy.
Your rights under GDPR
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Given that we do not store personal data beyond email correspondence, most of these rights are satisfied by default.

Data breach notification
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali within 72 hours where required under GDPR Article 33.
