Boots Deals
CE EN 13634 is the EU standard for motorcycle boots, with ratings across four areas: shaft height (1 or 2), impact absorption, transverse rigidity, and heel/ankle coverage. Level 2 across all four zones is the benchmark for serious road use. Touring boots balance protection with walkability — important if you cover distance or commute. Sport boots prioritise ankle rigidity for track and performance riding. Adventure boots add sole grip and waterproofing for mixed terrain. Urban/casual boots offer the least protection but maximum comfort off the bike.
Before buying
- CE EN 13634 Level 2 across all zones is the target for road riding — Level 1 is the legal minimum only.
- Sole grip matters for off-bike walking — touring and adventure boots use Vibram-style soles, sport boots do not.
- Waterproof membranes (Gore-Tex, Sympatex) add warmth and keep feet dry but reduce breathability in summer heat.
